8 Mile was AWESOME! It’s getting really good reviews for a reason. I loved it. (AND you get to see Eminem’s boo-tay! Yum!) You should check it out! It opens in theaters tomorrow. Looks like Em is going to be the Cher (not the Mariah or Britney) of the male musicians. There’s not one yet right? I can’t think of one. Let me know if I’m missing one.

I was so depressed about the election turnout that I had to use a couple vacation days to recoup. Ok, I was going to lose them if I didn’t use them. I am slowly getting over Tuesdays upset so none of you gay republicans (oxymoron) say a word. I order extra good weather for my days off and so far it looks like I owe someone BIG.

Yes, today was gorgeous and tomorrow and the rest of the weekend are supposed to be the same. The air smelled warm and fresh. Isn’t it fun driving through a pile of leaves collecting on the street and watch them–in your rearview mirror–turn into a big leaf tornado? FUN! The only thing that would have made the day better is if my roomie wouldn’t have been off for these 2 days as well. Oh well. Neither of us were home much and it looks like I’m not going to be around much tomorrow either. (Nothing against the roomie.) Tomorrow I’m going to do some surgery on a friends computer, more errands and then see Jekyll & Hyde (the musical.)

Revived an idea I had just over three years ago for multi-faceted arts business. Just kicking around some new ideas. A few marketing people in “the field” got laid off today so I think that’s just keeping me on my toes. I’m not really worried about it happening to me though. I have a half dozen plans in mind if it does. (Which, of course, is a BIG shock to anyone who knows me. Not!) I sorta welcome it actually. I could use the severance. 🙂 Wish the ad agency lady would call me… Gee, I’m not ready for a new job, eh?!

I’m not in much of a creative writing mode the last few days. Pretty much boring everyday stuff. Sorry. I do want to keep writing so I don’t lose the momentum. If you want some good reading then go here or here or here. Otherwise, bear with me. It’s bound to get better.
